OUR BELOVED PRESIDENT (2007-08)
Lion G.K.Shankar is the younger brother of PMJF Lion
G.K.Kannan who is not only a mentor for him, for the entire club.
Lion G.K.Shankar is an M.Sc Graduate, doing
architectural aluminium fabrication works such as doors, windows,
partitions, false ceilings & glazings.

He is a great cricketer. His 170 runs opening
partnership in a Lions club tournament match is unbeaten so far. He won a
double wicket cricket trophy for Lions Club of Madras West in yesteryears.
He is also a good player of shuttle and badminton.
He is married to Renuka, an advocate by profession. She
is also assisting Mr.Shankar in his business activities. The couple are
blessed with 2 children. Master Goutham Krishnan doing 7th standard and
Master Karthick Dhurai doing 4th standard. Both are pupils of Shri
Padmaseshadri school in K.K.Nagar.
